What is a Google Play gift card?
Google Play is Google’s digital distribution service and app store for Android. A gift card or digital gift code adds prepaid balance, which you can spend on apps, games and in-app purchases.
In Bangladesh, you generally buy codes from resellers rather than an overseas cashier or self-service kiosk. Delivery may be by email, so there does not have to be a physical card. Google’s official gift-card information says there are no fees and no expiration dates. That does not remove the country restrictions.

Jubaly offers email delivery and bKash payment. Its India-region card with INR options was out of stock when checked. Rusubd listed a $50 card at Tk 4,550, down from Tk 5,000, but that was also out of stock. Neither unavailable listing should be treated as a ready-to-buy offer.
Zamve sells USD, GBP, AUD and CAD region options and accepts bKash, Nagad and Rocket. GamerShopBD lists cards with instant delivery and those payment methods too. Daraz has marketplace listings; check each seller’s region and terms rather than assuming every listing is equivalent.
How to buy with bKash
- Check eligibility first. Read the card’s country label and compare it with your Play country. A USD price alone is not proof that your account can redeem it.
- Choose the amount. Compare the final taka price with the snapshot above. Confirm stock, delivery method and the seller’s policy for a code that cannot be redeemed.
- Enter your delivery details carefully. For email delivery, check the address before placing the order. Keep the order confirmation.
- Select bKash at checkout. Follow the shop’s payment instructions and verify the recipient and amount before confirming. Do not send money to an unrelated account supplied in a random message.
- Keep your receipt and code private. Save the payment record and delivery email. Redeem only after checking the region requirements, not by handing the code to someone offering to help.

How to redeem the code
Use Google’s own redemption page or the Play Store app. Before entering anything, make sure you are signed into the Google account you actually want to use for purchases.
- Open Google’s official redeem page, or open the gift-code redemption option inside the Play Store app.
- Enter the gift code privately and check the account shown.
- Follow the confirmation prompts. If a country-related error appears, stop and check the card’s country against the official restrictions.
A successful payment to a reseller is not a promise of successful redemption. Resolve eligibility questions before buying, rather than after the code arrives.
The region catch: a US card is not a Bangladesh card
Google’s rule is clear: “Card is valid only in original country of purchase.” Your Play country should match the card’s country. The US terms also require users to be USA residents aged 13 or older.
Most cards sold by Bangladesh resellers are USA-region. One shop’s instructions tell buyers to connect to a US server through a VPN. That is the shop’s advice, not Google’s official rule, and we do not recommend it as a workaround. A VPN instruction does not replace the country and residency requirements.

What can you spend Play balance on?

Scam safety before you pay
Google’s gift-card scam guidance says: “Google will never ask you for payment information over the phone” and “If anyone asks you for a code, it could be a scam.” Never share the code on the back of a card or expose a digital code in a public screenshot.
Cards are “not redeemable for cash, not reloadable, and non-refundable, unless required by law”. Treat requests to send a code as payment with suspicion. If you become a scam victim, Google’s guidance is to report it to police, then Google.
