RAM Limiter
GX Control’s RAM Limiter allows you to choose how much memory Opera GX uses. The RAM Limiter default setting aims to achieve a balance between memory usage and user experience. While the browser will attempt to keep the memory limit at or below its maximum, it will prioritise experience over strict memory limits. It will allow memory usage to go slightly above the limit if it is able keep a stream running or a file that is cloud-based active. The browser will not exceed the set memory limit if it is set to Hard Limit. Even if browsing experience is compromised, the browser will not exceed the chosen memory limit.
CPU Limiter
The CPU Limiter allows you to limit the amount of processing your browser uses on your computer so that gaming can take place. Both GX Control features are designed to allow you to open your browser even when you’re streaming or playing a resource-intensive game.
Twitch Integration
Live streaming is always available. You can see which channels you’re following, who’s online, as well as set up notifications to be notified whenever someone you follow goes live.

We realized how useful Video conferencing pop-out was after we made it available. The next step was to allow any video pop out. Your YouTube video will pop out automatically when you switch tabs. It will also pop back when your tab is closed. You can toggle this option off if desired. To make multitasking easier, the window has transparency.
Meme generator
The Snapshot tool has been refined with additional options to make it more fun. You can easily create your memes and share them to your friends.
