Why sensitivity matters for headshots

Looking for free fire sensitivity settings headshot 2026? Start with a guide’s setup, then adjust it to your thumb and phone. No sensitivity set gives you automatic headshots. The useful setup is the one that lets your crosshair reach the head without flying past it.

Sensitivity controls how far your aim moves when you swipe. Higher General and Red Dot values help with close-range upward drags. Lower values give you more control, especially while zoomed in, but can leave a short drag stuck around the chest.

Your phone matters too. Stable FPS is just as important as the sliders. If your budget Android struggles during fights, sort out performance before blaming every missed shot on sensitivity.

How to open sensitivity and get started

Open Settings > In-Match > Sensitivity. The current scale goes up to 200. You can adjust the sliders or enter values. Check the scale before copying an older screenshot, because guides still include recommendations from the older, lower scale.

For a quick starting point, FreeFireJornal’s headshot sensitivity guide, published 2026-08-10, recommends this setup:

  • General: 185
  • Red Dot: 190
  • 2x Scope: 175
  • 4x Scope: 160
  • Sniper/AWM Scope: 100
  • Free Look: 150
  • Fire button size: 50-55%

Use this as a complete starting setup, not a promise of perfect aim. These are third-party recommendations. Garena publishes no official recommended sensitivity numbers in the sources used here.

How the main sensitivity guides compare

The guides do not agree on a single Free Fire best sensitivity setup. This comparison keeps each source’s values separate. TalkEsport supplies baseline ranges, GamingNewsLab includes an older-scale beginner set, and FreeFireJornal supplies a quick setup.

Guide and published dateGeneralRed Dot2x Scope4x ScopeSniper/AWM
TalkEsport, 2026-07-15, current-scale baseline180-195145-170125-145105-12555-75
GamingNewsLab, 2025-12-19, older-scale beginner set95-10090-9585-9075-8050-60
FreeFireJornal, 2026-08-10, current-scale quick setup185190175160100

The GamingNewsLab row is not a directly comparable current-scale preset. Do not treat its lower numbers as proof that beginners should use much slower aim today. That guide also gives current-scale device recommendations, covered below.

Pick a clearly labelled current-scale setup to test first. Mixing the highest value from every guide makes it harder to work out which recommendation actually suits you.

Free Fire drag headshot settings

If you mainly want to practise upward drag shots, TalkEsport’s sensitivity guide gives a dedicated drag-headshot setup. It uses lower scoped values than FreeFireJornal’s quick setup.

  • General: 190
  • Red Dot: 160
  • 2x Scope: 140
  • 4x Scope: 115
  • Sniper Scope: 60
  • Fire button size: 48-55%

A drag shot means swiping upward while firing. A one-tap means tapping fire without dragging. Practise them separately so you know which action is missing, rather than changing sensitivity after every failed attempt.

Keep the fire button around the recommended half-size range while learning the motion. Test whether you can press and drag comfortably. The goal is a repeatable swipe, not copying a screenshot that feels awkward under your thumb.

Budget Android settings for Bangladesh players

If you play on a 2-4GB RAM phone, GamingNewsLab’s device-tier sensitivity guide recommends these ranges on the current scale:

  • General: 180-200
  • Red Dot: 190-200
  • 2x Scope: 170-190
  • 4x Scope: 160-180
  • Sniper: 140-170
  • Free Look: 180-200

There is a real disagreement here. GamingNewsLab recommends higher sensitivity for weaker phones and lower sensitivity for stronger ones. TalkEsport goes the other way, raising General and Red Dot recommendations for stronger devices.

TalkEsport’s low-end set is General 175, Red Dot 150, 2x 130, 4x 110, and Sniper 60. Treat these as separate recommendations, not numbers to average together. RAM alone does not settle which set will feel right for you.

Make performance steady before tuning

TalkEsport recommends Smooth graphics, the highest stable FPS, closing background apps, and keeping 3-5GB of free storage. Stable is the important word. A higher performance setting is not useful if your phone cannot hold it consistently.

Apply those basics before comparing presets. Otherwise, you may keep changing aim settings while the bigger problem is uneven performance during a fight.

How to tune your aim without endless changes

Use Training Island dummies first. After your drag feels repeatable, test it in Custom Rooms or Clash Squad. GamingNewsLab also recommends aim assist. Keep your practice focused on where the crosshair finishes, not just whether a shot lands.

  1. Start with a named setup. Keep its values together for your first practice session.
  2. Watch for overshooting. If the crosshair goes above the head, lower General by 2-5 points, following FreeFireJornal’s rule.
  3. Watch for short drags. If it stays on the chest, raise General by 2-5 points.
  4. Change one setting at a time. TalkEsport similarly recommends raising General by 5 when you stop below the head, or lowering it by 5 when you fly above.
  5. Give the setup time. TalkEsport recommends keeping one setup for 20-30 matches before judging it.

For forgiving headshot practice weapons, TalkEsport lists MP40, MP5, M1887, UMP, Woodpecker, and AK47. Work on consistent swipes instead of switching both your weapon and sensitivity after every miss.

Still looking for the perfect headshot preset?

The best ff sensitivity for headshot practice is a starting point you can tune, not a magic code. Raistar-inspired settings can be worth testing, but your phone and muscle memory may need something different. Keep small adjustments and steady practice ahead of preset hunting.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best Free Fire sensitivity for headshots in 2026?

No universal auto-headshot setting exists. FreeFireJornal’s starting setup is General 185, Red Dot 190, 2x 175, 4x 160, Sniper 100, and Free Look 150. Test it on Training Island and adjust General by 2-5 points according to where your drag finishes.

How do I change sensitivity settings in Free Fire?

Open Settings > In-Match > Sensitivity, then adjust the sliders or enter your chosen values. The current scale goes up to 200. Practise on Training Island before checking the setup in Custom Rooms or Clash Squad.

What sensitivity settings should I use on a low-end phone?

For 2-4GB RAM phones, GamingNewsLab recommends General 180-200, Red Dot 190-200, 2x 170-190, 4x 160-180, Sniper 140-170, and Free Look 180-200. TalkEsport recommends a lower low-end set, so treat these as alternatives rather than blending them. Use Smooth graphics, the highest stable FPS, and close background apps before testing.

Does copying Raistar-style sensitivity help with headshots?

It can give you a starting point, but it will not reproduce another player’s aim. GamingNewsLab describes Raistar-inspired aggressive setups with General and Red Dot at 190-200, not verified personal settings from the player. Different phones and muscle memory mean you should test and tune instead of copying blindly.
