Valorant Mobile Release Date: China Launch, Global Wait

Looking for the Valorant Mobile release date? As of early October 2026, there is still no global release date. Valorant Mobile launched in China on August 19, 2025, but Riot has not announced when players in Bangladesh or the rest of South-East Asia will get official access.

That is the important split: the China version is live, while the global version is still waiting for a dated announcement. A big download milestone, a tournament listing, or a headline saying a launch is “incoming” does not change that.

When was Valorant Mobile announced?

Riot first announced plans for a mobile version on June 2, 2021. The original PC game had launched on June 2, 2020, as a free-to-play, 5v5 tactical hero shooter.

The Valorant article on Wikipedia records the China mobile launch as August 19, 2025, with a global release set for a later date. Its August 26, 2026 revision still gave no specific global date. So the mobile project is real and already playable in China, but that is not the same as worldwide availability.

Verified release and reporting timeline

How did the China launch go?

The available reporting points to a large launch. On December 3, 2025, Esports News UK ran the headline “Valorant Mobile is China’s biggest 2025 mobile game launch – but when is the global release?” Treat that as the outlet’s reported description, not an independently tested ranking here.

Insider Gaming then reported more than 10 million daily players in a May 4, 2026 headline. Its July 23 headline reported more than 100 million downloads in China alone. Those are different measures: downloads do not mean the same thing as people playing every day.

These reports are available through the Google News Valorant Mobile headline feed. The figures here come from those headlines; the full articles were not accessible for this research, so we are not adding details about their methods or platform breakdowns.

There is also an organized tournament scene. A September 23, 2026 headline from Esports Charts, which tracks esports events, listed “FSN Valorant Mobile Series 1.” That supports the existence of organized competition in China. It does not tell us when Bangladesh servers or a global download will arrive.

What happened to the Gamescom 2026 rumor?

The July 9 Insider Gaming headline said Valorant Mobile “Might Finally Release Globally During Gamescom.” The word “might” mattered. It was a possibility, not a Riot-confirmed launch schedule.

Gamescom 2026 came and went without a global launch. On August 27, Sportskeeda was still asking whether an August release was possible. A September 3 TalkEsport headline was still asking when the game was coming out.

Do not keep an expired rumor on your calendar as if it were a delayed official date. No official global date existed in the first place. The honest answer to “when is Valorant Mobile coming out?” remains: China already has it; Riot has not said when the global release will happen.

What could a global rollout involve?

A global rollout would likely need clear information about regional availability, official download channels, supported devices, and account access. Language support and service readiness are also sensible things to watch. These are practical expectations, not announced Riot plans.

Riot has announced nothing about a global rollout schedule in the verified information available here. We cannot promise a regional beta, a particular launch order, or simultaneous access across Bangladesh and SEA. There are no confirmed global requirements to list either.

Account features need the same caution. Console Valorant provides a precedent for inventory and progress syncing with PC, but that does not confirm mobile skin transfers. Wait for mobile-specific details before planning around your existing collection.

Bangladesh: how to get ready properly

There is no official way to play the global version in Bangladesh right now. Instead of chasing a supposed unlocked build, use the waiting time for a few useful steps.

• Create a Riot account through official channels. Keep your login secure. Having an account is preparation, not a guarantee of mobile access or a beta invitation.
• Try the free PC version if you have access to a suitable PC. It gives you something official to play while waiting. Do not assume PC controls or settings will transfer directly to mobile.
• Wait for official device information. Do not buy a phone based on a guessed requirements list.
• Avoid unofficial APK offers. Never pay a site claiming to sell global early access.

Be careful with Valorant Mobile APK searches

No global build exists in the verified release information. Any APK offered outside China’s official channels is unverified and can carry malware or account risks. A download page calling itself “global” does not make it official.

Do not enter your Riot credentials on a download seller’s page or hand over an account to someone promising access. For a Valorant Mobile download in Bangladesh, wait for official regional instructions rather than treating a working download button as proof.
