Opera GX: explicit limits, with trade-offs
According to Opera’s GX Control documentation, the browser offers configurable RAM, CPU and network controls. Open the speedometer icon in the sidebar to find them. Controls can be switched off individually to restore default browser resource management.
The RAM limiter lets you set a browser memory limit; hard limits can remove inactive tabs from memory. CPU controls restrict browser processing.
